Donations

Thank you for considering Butter & Cream for your upcoming event/fundraiser.  We take pride in our continued support and involvement in our community.  While we would love to donate to every organization that requests our support, we are unable to do so due to the large volume of requests that we receive. We appreciate that you have thought of us for participation in your event and will do our best to respond in a timely manner. 

Here are a few things that will be helpful to you when submitting your request:

• We must receive a written donation request prior to the event/fundraiser, 4-6 weeks is best, however we understand causes can arise spontaneously and we are flexible. 
• Requests made by organizations in Decatur/Old Fourth Ward and the surrounding areas will be given priority.
• While all causes are worthy, education, social justice, and animal welfare are our top priorities.  Requests from organizations that also support these causes will be given precedence.
• We are unable to make cash donations, but can offer a percentage of sales for a specific period.  We will gladly donate gift certificates, ice cream, and coupons to causes that meet our criteria, if we have the available resources.
• If the above guidelines apply to your organization/event, please request your donation by doing the following:

All requests must be submitted via email.  Requests will not be taken over the phone or in person.  Requests must be emailed to info@butterandcream.com for consideration.

Each request should include the following information:

• Event/fundraiser contact name
• Email address
• Phone number
• Website
• Facebook or Instagram page
• A brief summary of your organization and the purpose of your event/fundraiser.
• The date and location of your event/fundraiser and your deadline for response.
• Will Butter & Cream receive any recognition on promotional materials in exchange for our donation? If so, do you need our logo?  In what format?
• Is your event for profit?
• Are you selling tickets to your event?
• What type of donation you would prefer: gift certificates, ice cream, or coupons?
• How will our donation will be used: Auction, prize, volunteer gifts?
• Will you share photos of your event with us or on social media?
